Nandi: Police raid store, confiscate 33 boxes with counterfeit alcohol

Security officers in Nandi county have seized 33 boxes of counterfeit alcohol from a store in Himaki area, in the Nandi Hills area.
The consignment is suspected to belong to a businessman in the town.
Deputy County Commissioner Leonard Mgute said the goods were confiscated following a tip off from members of the public.
He said one person has been arrested and will be arraigned in court once investigations are complete.
"We have contacted the Kenya Revenue Authority to inspect the goods. We are warning business people that they need to engage in sound business practices or they will face the law," Mgute said,
