Results of the postmortem of a nurse who was reported missing in Malili, Makueni County reveal that the nurse was strangled, leading to difficulties in breathing causing his death.

27-year-old Job Omarimba, who was a nurse at a hospital in Meru, was reported missing on August 22.

It is said that he had gone to buy a car in Nairobi when he went missing.

His body was then found by the Malili-Konza road with a rope on his neck.

Government pathologist who released the results said Omarimba suffered difficulties in breathing before his death.

The deceased’s father, Julius Omarimba, now wants the government to ensure that the people responsible for the death of his son are brought to justice.

Five people, four men and one woman, are already in police custody in connection with the murder.

Three among them are police officers.
