KDF officer dies awaiting justice for murdered wife, son

Patrick
Musyoka Ndana, a KDF officer and who hit headlines three months ago where he
pleaded for justice after his wife and son were brutally hacked to death has
passed on.
The 59-year-old officer was buried near the graves of his wife and son who died after an
attack by unknown persons on different dates at their home.
His late
wife was hacked with a panga at their Nguutani home on October 1, 2022.
A month
later, his 20-year-old son was also killed after he was attacked while on their
family land.
The
deceased had been sick for two years and when all these killings happened, he
was on his hospital bed.
Musyoka
died with a desire that the killers of his loved ones will be brought to book.
"It is
someone well known to us and is doing this because he is monied and has vast
connections," Musyoka said on January 4 during the burial of his 20 year
old son Brian Ndana.
His colleagues
eulogized Musyoka, who joined the Defence forces in 1986 as a very hardworking,
dedicated loyal and patriotic officer who interacted well with both his seniors
and juniors.
The area
assistant chief, Simeon Kavive said the matter is under investigation after several
suspects were arrested.
Kavive also
urged locals to stop living in fear as security within the area has been beefed
up
"We
have intensified patrols in the area so there's no need for locals to live in
fear," said Kavive.
The
administrator also condemned the cruel acts urging the locals to work closely
with the administration in order to completely address the issue of insecurity.
