Citizen TV's Gusii region correspondent Chrispine Otieno was among 35 Kenyans feted by Ichange Nations Global Organization for an exemplary service to the society through highlighting the plight of the voiceless in villages.

The award ceremony which was held in Kisii on Saturday saw Otieno bag the Reuben West Regional Voice of Change Award for using his voice to speak to others in a way that creates impact and positive change within the world.

Other Kenyans awarded include Kisii County Commander Francis Kooli, Kisii's CEC member Edna Kamgwana, as well as several professors and lawyers across the country for a sterling job to humanity.

Ichange Nations Special Envoy to Africa led a delegation from California in the USA to give the coveted Award to the 35 men and women.

West, speaking during an interview with the press, encouraged Kenyans to continue embracing peaceful coexistence through service to humanity at a time when the country is heading for a General Election.

I change Nations Civility Award has been given to several Head of States and Special Envoys to foster peace Globally.
