3 killed in Nakuru-Eldoret Highway accident

Three people died and several others were injured in road accident at the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway inUasin Gishu County on Sunday morning.
The accident that occurred at Poa Place, few meters form Eldoret town, involved a 14-seater matatu heading to Eldoret from Nairobi and a lorry.
The driver of the matatu is said to have lost control of the vehicle before ramming into the lorry parked by the road side.
Confirming the incident, Eldoret East OCPD Richard Omanga said the driver of the vehicle is among those receiving treatment at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.
The bodies of the deceased were moved to the same facility as investigations continue.
