‘Game of Thrones’ actor Peter Dinklage turns 46

The only American on the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’, Peter Dinklage, celebrates his 46th birthday Thursday.

Known as Tyrion Lannister in the series, Dinklage was born in Morristown New Jersey on June 11, 1969 with achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism.

Dinklage has starred in all ‘Game of Thrones’ fantasy series for all its five seasons since 2009, drawing fanatical following and acclaim.

He has already won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for the role in the series.

Dinklage is married and has one daughter.
