Woman, lover caught pants down by husband at their home in Nyamira

A 45-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man have been arrested in Nyamira County after they were caught pants down at her marital home.
Officers from Nyamusi police station in Nyamira North moved in as irate members of the public descended on the two lovebirds with kicks and blows in Botonianda village, Egetonto area.
The woman’s husband, a driver at a Homa Bay-based company, returned home at around midnight only for his constant knocks on the door to fall on deaf ears.
“The woman’s husband made a call to the local Nyumba Kumi elders after his wife failed to open the door,” witnesses said.
Following the intervention, the 22-year-old man, who hails from Bobasi in Kisii, opened the door only to be met by a crowd which was boiling with rage.
Nyamira North police boss Patrick Ngeiywa said the two are being held by police as the dejected husband struggles to come to terms with the unfolding events.
