Woman kills husband after disagreement on how to spend their salaries

A 38-year-old woman on Thursday killed her husband, 45, following a domestic disagreement over how to spend their salaries in Raitigo village, Nyamira County.

Confirming the incident, Deputy County Commissioner Michael Lesmam said the accused stabbed her husband – Geoffrey Nyamoko – on the back and he bled to death while being taken to the hospital by neighbours.

Mr. Lesmam added that the couple worked together as casual labourers in the area and had just been paid their salaries when they disagreed over how to spend the money collectively.

The body of the deceased was transferred to Nyansiongo Hospital mortuary while the woman is still at large.
