Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Manchester City to sign forwards Savinho and Omar Marmoush from their Premier League rivals, British media outlets reported Thursday.

Spurs were first linked with Brazilian winger Savinho back in 2025, when the 22-year-old opted to stay at the Etihad Stadium.

But the BBC and Sky Sports said Savinho, who made just seven Premier League starts last season, was now ready to leave City after joining from French club Troyes -- part of City Football Group -- for £30 million ($41 million) in 2024.

Marmoush, a £59 million signing from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2025, fell out of favour under former manager Pep Guardiola last term and the 27-year-old managed eight goals in 36 appearances in all competitions.

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi has revamped the north London club's midfield during the summer transfer window, signing Mateus Fernandes from West Ham and Sandro Tonali from Newcastle for an estimated combined fee of £185 million.

But De Zerbi also wants to bolster Spurs' attack after they narrowly avoided relegation last season when they finished 17th, scoring just 48 goals in 38 games.

Spurs reportedly remain interested in Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo.

City have already sold several players in the transfer window, including Rodri, midfielder Tijjani Reijnders and reserve goalkeeper James Trafford.

Spurs begin their Premier League campaign away to Brentford on Saturday, with City welcoming Bournemouth to the Etihad on Sunday.
