Shekhinah, Sun-El Musician lead star-studded cast at Peaches & Cream debut

At the top of the bill sit Shekhinah and Sun-El Musician, two names that need no introduction on the continent's soul and house circuits.

Shekhinah brings the kind of vocal presence that turns a festival crowd into a choir, while Sun-El Musician's productions have spent years quietly shaping what Afro house sounds like across Southern Africa. Together, they anchor a day built to swing between smooth and euphoric without ever losing the thread.

They are not carrying the day alone. Nikita Kering, Kethan, Bridget Blue, Ochiko, Njerae, Watendawili, Xenia Manasseh, Bune, IV, Darkfruit, Smolls and Sendat round out a bill that leans hard into Kenya's own crop of rising Afro-R&B and alternative voices, artists who have spent the last few years building the exact kind of sound this festival is betting on. For a first edition, it is an unusually confident booking. Most debuts play it safe. This one plays it loud.

The format matters as much as the names.
