PwC has announced the appointment of Kang’e Saiti as Regional Senior Partner (RSP) for PwC Eastern Africa and Country Senior Partner (CSP) for PwC Kenya, effective 1 January 2026.

Kang’e, a Partner in PwC’s Assurance business based in Nairobi, succeeds Peter Ngahu, who served as Regional and Country Leader for eight years. He previously held the role of Assurance Leader for PwC Kenya and Eastern Africa, where he spearheaded service innovation.

With over 28 years of audit and assurance experience in Eastern Africa and the United Kingdom, Kang’e is recognised for his extensive client and market expertise.

In his new dual leadership role, he will oversee PwC’s strategic direction and operational excellence across six countries: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, and Mauritius.

Commenting on his appointment, Kang’e said:  “I extend my sincere gratitude to Peter Ngahu for his exemplary leadership as Regional Leader. Under his guidance, we achieved significant milestones and navigated major challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, positioning PwC strongly for the future."

He added: "I am honoured to assume this role at such a pivotal moment for the Eastern Africa region. Our focus will be on driving quality, delivering sustainable value to clients and our people, fostering innovation, and strengthening partnerships to shape the future of businesses and communities across the region.”

Kang’e holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant in Kenya (CPA-K). He has also played an active role in the profession through leadership positions within the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
