Prime Cabinet Secretary (PCS) Musalia Mudavadi on Wednesday arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan ahead of the summit-level meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) contact group.

The PCS landed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku City on Wednesday while in the company of his wife Tessie Mudavadi.

The two were received by the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev.

NAM is the second largest grouping of states worldwide after the United Nations (UN) and consists of 120 member countries.

Having been founded in 1961 by India, NAM which consists of nations not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc has the role of advancing the interests of developing countries in the context of the Cold War confrontation.

All the African countries except Western Sahara and South Sudan are members of NAM.

Here are the photos.
