President Ruto dazzles in stylish Ksh. 15k converse sneakers

While Ruto has shown his taste in the past, the bold fashion statement is unprecedented.

President Ruto debuted the look while he drove himself in an electric car to the closing ceremony of Youth Africa Climate Change Summit at KICC, Nairobi.

Fashion heads were quick to notice the President's chic look as he stepped out of the miniature yellow car, his chunky platform sneakers stealing the show.

To complete the look, Ruto wore white pants, a beige polo shirt and a creamy cap. 

On the official converse website, the shoes fetch a cool $110 (approx. Ksh 15,000).

Ruto, whose style lately has been featuring a heavy dose of fitting Kaunda suits, was recently spotted wearing expensive Salvatore Ferragamo loafers while on a trip to Kampala, Uganda.

On the same trip, Ruto, a known timepiece lover, also donned the exquisite A Lange 1 Moon Phase watch. Its price range varies from Ksh5 million ($36,000) to Ksh12 million ($88,500), depending on the specific features and specifications.
