Naked body of a unidentified man discovered inside water tank at Machakos County Children’s office

The body of a middle-aged man has been discovered floating inside a drnking water tank at a children’s office in Machakos.

The water tank is just a few meters away from the District Commissioners office.

Stephen Muteti, a cleaner at the office discovered the body after noticing house flies swarming near the lid.

Upon close inspection , he discovered the naked body and informed his bosses who then hailed the police.

Machakos County DCI boss Charles Mutua confirmed the incident, saying the naked body may have remained undiscovered in the water tank for three days .

Although the decedent has not been identified, Mr.Mutua expressed confidence that the puzzle would be solved in good time.
