Muhoroni: Police probe mystery death of 59-year-old man found in locked house

Neighbours informed police of a foul smell emanating from the deceased's house, prompting police to break in.

Police gained access into the house, which was locked from inside, and found the body of Moses Odenyi, aged 59, lying on the bed. 

Police say a physical examination on his body did not reveal any injuries, but the foul smell signified that he could have passed on days back.

Neighbours told police that he was last seen entering his house on Saturday evening. Police took away the body to the Othoo hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
