Man hacked to death during 'disco matanga' in Busia

According to preliminary investigations, the incident occurred after a dispute broke out between the victim and a group of unidentified individuals over a financial disagreement during a fundraising contribution at the event.

The victim sustained deep cut wounds and died at the scene. The attackers fled before police arrived.

The killing has sparked concern among local residents, who are calling for stricter regulation or an outright ban on disco matanga sessions.
