Man dies in an accident while taking his children to school

One person has been killed in an accident along Mombasa Road.

Police said the incident happened after a bus heading to Nairobi hit a motorbike at Zion area.

The deceased was taking his children to school on the said motorbike only to be hit by the bus as they crossed the road.

The man died on the spot as his two children, a boy and a girl, sustained serious injuries.

The body of the deceased has been taken to Kambu hospital mortuary.

Meanwhile his two children are undergoing treatment at Makindu Sub-county Hospital.
