Governor Orengo's daughter, Lavender, weds in posh Karen wedding

Siaya Governor James Orengo's daughter, Lavender Orengo, is no longer in the market after wedding her long-time sweetheart Albert in a posh, invite-only wedding held in Karen Nairobi on Friday.

Footage of the event seen by Citizen Digital shows Orengo and his wife Betty Kaari Murungi, walking their daughter down the aisle before handing her over to her would-be husband.

Lavender dazzled in a white, eye-popping sleeveless wedding gown that showcased her curves while Albert looked dapper in a suave dark blue tuxedo.

The pair then exchanged vows as a priest officiated the ceremony.

A number of politicians, key among them Azimio la Umoja party leader Raila Odinga, graced the event. MPs Otiende Amollo, Elisha Odhiambo and Samuel Atandi were also in attendance.
