Mombasa Governor and ODM Deputy Party Leader Abdulswamad Nassir has called on Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) officials to rise above internal disagreements and focus their energy on securing victory in the upcoming by-elections.

Speaking during a town hall meeting in Mambrui, Magarini Constituency, Kilifi County, Governor Nassir emphasised the importance of unity and discipline within the party, especially at a time when ODM has fielded candidates across several regions in the country.

He applauded grassroots supporters for their resilience and urged leaders to channel their efforts toward strengthening the party’s presence in areas where ODM is contesting.

“There are those party members who, instead of focusing on the upcoming polls, are busy issuing threats. We will deal with them accordingly,” he cautioned, noting that divisive politics undermines the party’s mission.

Governor Nassir’s remarks come amid high optimism within ODM strongholds, where officials and supporters are rallying to honour Raila’s legacy through strengthened unity and electoral success.

With candidates already cleared in multiple wards and Constituencies across the country, the governor expressed confidence that a united ODM will emerge stronger in the forthcoming by-elections.
