Franklin Oyomo Aluoch charged with Ksh.4M theft from employer Phoenix Capital

Franklin Oyomo Aluoch on Friday pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing over Ksh.4million from Phoenix Capital Limited.
The court was told that Aluoch reportedly gained access to the money by virtue of his employment at the company.
“On diverse dates between 1st January and 31st August at Phoenix Capital Limited within Nairobi County being a servant at Phoenix Capital Limited stole Ksh. 4,331,677 the property of Phoenix Capital Limited,” the charge sheet reads.
On Friday, the suspect was arraigned before Magistrate Sinkiyian Tobiko and denied the charges.
The court released him on a cash bail of Ksh.100,000.
His case will be mentioned on October 23.
