Five burglary suspects arrested, stolen items recovered in Machakos

Police in Machakos have arrested five suspects found in possession of items believed to have been stolen during a burglary on Kitui Road in Machakos Town.
The five were apprehended by detectives conducting a routine patrol on Friday, following a tip-off about an ongoing theft.
Following the arrest, the burglars led the officers to a
location where suspected stolen items were recovered.
“The suspects subsequently led officers to a location where
a television, a keg pump, audio equipment, and assorted alcoholic beverages
were recovered,” the National Police Service said in a statement.
The suspects have since been detained at Machakos Police
Station, awaiting arraignment.
