Electoral Board sets new dates for FKF elections

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) national elections will now be held on February 10, FKF Electoral Board has announced.

In a press statement released on Tuesday, the electoral board chairman Donald Kipkorir revealed that three out of the seven appeals filed at the appeals board ordered repeat elections.

The FKF Elections Board had earlier cancelled the elections slated for Saturday December 18, 2015 following allegations of malpractices at sub branch levels.

The Board has now released new dates for the sub branch by-elections, branch and national elections slated for January 14, January 26 and February 10, 2016 respectively.

“We have staggered up dates to enable full participation of stakeholders and to give time for the resolution of any complaints that may arise,” stated Kipkorir.
