The much awaited Kenyan Basketball Federation league tipoff is now set for February 20, the federation has said.
In a
statement the federation said that the new date was arrived at following a
meeting between the National Executive Committee, after consultations with
clubs.
The federation
however fell short of publishing the fixture list, noting that it would be
communicated through 'official channels'.
The
league was initially scheduled to tip off on January 23, but was pushed back to
February 6 before being deferred again.
Nairobi
City Thunder and Kenya Ports Authority are the defending champions of the men’s
and women's premier leagues respectively, and will be aiming to defend their
crowns.
