Around Africa on Motorcycle bikers in cooperation with Citizen Digital will embark on a tour around Africa to raise funds for the Logos Scholarship Fund, a foundation set up to help the less fortunate.

With nearly 1.5 million Kenyan children out of school due to poverty, the 4,000-kilometer journey seeks to raise money to provide mentorship and character-building opportunities for the foundation which was established in 2008.

"We will have a motorcycle tour around four extreme parts of Africa to celebrate the beauty of Africa and, majorly, to facilitate the Logos Scholarship Fund, which is set to support needy students," said Nick Korir.

Royal Media Services (RMS) Marketing Director Carole Wachira added, "The main reason we support this is because it's a move to support needy students."

Speaking during the signing of the memorandum event at RMS, a senior pastor at Nairobi Chapel and one of the African motorcycle riders said that the flag-off will be on December 12, 2024, from Nairobi Chapel to Marsabit through Thika Superhighway.

"Flag-off from Nairobi Chapel on 12th December, Jamhuri Day. Using Thika Road and destination is Marsabit. There will be a biker escort, and everyone is allowed to join," said

The riders aim to reach Africa’s four extreme points: Tunisia (North), South Africa (South), Somalia (East), and Senegal (West).
