A section of residents of Suna  East Sub County and those from the neighboring sub counties like Awendo have raised concern over a criminal gang dubbed 42 brothers operating in Migori County.

The concerns come a few days after the members of the gang hacked two people including a teacher, who were trailing stolen cattle in Suna-Kwa location, Suna East Sub County.

Besides dealing with the cattle theft in the region, the members of the public want the security officers in Suna East Sub County to weed out the criminal gang as soon as possible.

Suna Kwa location Chief Mr.Evance Achola confirmed that the criminal gang hacked two people who were part of the team that was trailing stolen cattle from the neighboring sub location (Arambe sub location).

The area chief said they have noted that the criminal gang has a bigger membership of young boys aged between 17 and 20 years that is well coordinated.

He said the members of the public have been very supportive except a few members of the public who are relatives of the members of the criminal gang.
