Residents in Nyandarua County have been urged to work with the authorities in efforts to weed out growing crime.
This comes in the wake of cattle rustling; with the latest case reported at Engineer.
Leaders among them Governor Kiarie Badilisha and Kinangop MP Kwenya Thuku have condemned the security apparatus for laxity.
According to them, the security situation is of concern, adding that cases of illicit brew have been reported in various areas in Nyandarua.
They also demanded for an immediate transfer of officers domiciled at Engineer police station.
County Commission Abdirizak Jaldesa has however called for joint efforts in order to tame the vice.
