Four family members killed, others injured in Marsabit–Moyale road crash

Four members of the same family have been killed and four others injured following a road accident along the Marsabit–Moyale Highway in Marsabit County.

The accident occurred on Saturday evening at Kuku Farm area, a short distance from Turbi Ward, and involved two private vehicles — a Toyota Prado and a Jetour.

Confirming the incident, Turbi Sub-County Police Commander Daniel Parmuat said a mother and her three children died on the spot.

Four other occupants of the vehicles sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Police have launched investigations into the cause of the accident as authorities continue to urge motorists to exercise caution along the busy highway.
