Kenya Police Bullets FC have been pooled in a relatively tough Group A of the CAF Women’s Champions League Cecafa qualifiers in a draw conducted by CAF on July 24, 2024, in Cairo, Egypt.

Police Bullets will face off with hosts Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Yei Joint FC (South Sudan), Warriors Queens (Zanzibar) and Rayon Sport Women’s (Rwanda), in a tournament set to take place from August 17 to September 4, 2024, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Bullets, who were crowned FKF Women Premier League champions in June this year, will start their campaign against Zanzibar’s Warriors Queens on the first day of the tournament at Addis Ababa Stadium, before taking on Yei Joint FC three days later at the same venue.

The soldiers will then square it out with Ethiopia’s CBE on August 23, before wrapping up group matches with a clash against Rayon Sport Women’s on August 29.

Group B has Tanzania’s Simba Queens (Tanzania), P.V.P Buyenzi (Burundi), Kawempe Muslim Ladies (Uganda), and FAD Djibouti (Djibouti).

This season marks the fourth edition of CAF’s flagship women’s interclub competition, which will see clubs at Zonal level pitted against each other to contest for a place at this season’s CAF Women’s Champions League finals later this year.

South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns are the reigning, and two-time champions of the competition, and have already qualified for the final phase of the competition where they will be hoping to secure a record third continental title.
