Bevalyne Kwamboka, a 23-year-old Nairobi 'chipo mwitu' vendor, who recently went viral for promoting her street food business on Twitter has graduated from Kenyatta University.

Bevalyne, who was studying to be a teacher,  graduated on Friday with a degree in Education which she had pursued for the past four years.

Taking to Twitter to share the news of her graduation, an elated Bevalyne stated: "Thank you so much for your support. Your Chipo mwitu vendor made it."

She also shared photos of herself donning her graduation hat while at her 'chipo mwitu' stall at Donholm roundabout.

The social media post attracted thousands of retweets and likes with Kenyans on social media sending her congratulatory messages.
