Speaking on Thursday during a press briefing outside the premises, Tuju said police vehicles were stationed at the site and claimed there were “strangers” he did not recognise.
“As you can see behind me are police vehicles. There are strangers in this place, I don’t know what they’re trying to enforce,” he said.
Tuju claimed the situation amounted to “a display of power with no legal order”, insisting the premises were neither a parastatal nor public land.
“This place is not a parastatal, it’s not a public land grabbed… What we are seeing is a display of power with no legal order to occupy this place,” he said.
He said officers told him they were acting on “orders from above”, but questioned under whose authority they were operating.
“I don’t know under whose power they are acting. They’re saying orders from above,” he said.
Tuju went on to name two individuals he alleged were behind vehicles that trailed him, saying he was “forced” to put them on record.
“I’m forced to name two individuals who are behind the two vehicles that were trailing me… Lawyer Fred Ojiambo and Amin, the Director of DCI,” he said.
Tuju claimed he filed a complaint against Ojiambo on January 5 and questioned why investigators had not interrogated him or other witnesses he listed.
“Why have they not found time to interrogate Ojiambo?” he asked, adding that it had been three months since he submitted what he said were court records and evidence.
He also questioned why he has not been charged if the information he previously submitted to DCI was false.
“If what I submitted the DCI is false information, why have they not charged me with giving false information?” he asked.
Tuju further claimed that a vehicle without number plates trailed him on the night of March 21, 2026, and alleged that some police vehicles involved in what he described as a night raid also lacked plate numbers.
He referenced what he described as a sting operation involving the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), claiming four people were arrested and that one later contacted him to intimidate him. He also alleged that one suspect had a gun and was disarmed during the arrest.
“Why is Amin Mohammed not investigating that?” he asked.
Tuju also claimed that his associate Steve Mwanga, whom he described as a former director at the Jubilee party, had been arrested and was being held without police bond, which he said was meant to intimidate him.
“They have refused to give him a police bond,” he said.
Tuju said he still experiences pain from what he described as a back injury and that he was considering travelling to the United Kingdom for review.
He also questioned how President William Ruto obtained what he claimed was a copy of a title deed referenced in remarks by ODM leader Oburu Odinga.
