Motorists stuck in heavy traffic along Nairobi-Nakuru highway
According to reports, the pile-up was experienced at Karai and Viewpoint areas leaving motorists and passengers stranded causing a mass overlapping.
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) took to social media advising motorists to observe road discipline and avoid overlapping to allow the road to clear up with ease.
"Motorists are advised to exercise road courtesy and are further urged to avoid overlapping as it will cause unnecessary delays," KeNHA wrote on Twitter.
By the time of this publishing police authorities had arrived at the areas to help ease the flow of traffic which had already started to clear up.
