Kisii: Man arrested after being caught in lodging with minor

Police officers in Keumbu, Kisii County, are presently holding a man who was found with a minor at a bar lodging in Nyabisabo market.

25-year-old Evans Ong'ongo was apprehended by Kerera location area Chief Samuel Mogaka alongside Nyamagwa sub-location Assistant Chief Bonface Obiri Ogari as well as Nyumba Kumi members.

According to a police report seen by Citizen Digital, the afternoon incident also saw the owner of the bar arrested.

ACC Keumbu Division and the OCS Keumbu Police Station are holding talks in a bid to have the bar closed.

Meanwhile, both the suspect and the minor have been booked at Keumbu Police Station as investigations continue.
