These highly anticipated back-to-back events are recognized as the largest and most influential gatherings for the power, energy, and solar sectors in the region.
The joint expo is scheduled to be inaugurated by Mr. Justus A. Wabuyabo, LLM (University of Nairobi), Chief Executive Officer of the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency (NuPEA), Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
Mr. Wabuyabo, who was recently confirmed as CEO after serving in an acting capacity since July 2023, brings over 22 years of experience as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He joined NuPEA in 2019 as Director of Legal and Regulatory Services and Corporation Secretary.
NuPEA, a state corporation under the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, is mandated to promote and implement Kenya's Nuclear Power Programme, as well as conduct research, development, and capacity building in the energy sector.
The exhibitions will serve as a crucial platform for international manufacturers, suppliers, and investors to converge—fostering professional networking, strategic partnerships, and innovation within the industry.
Over 150 exhibitors from more than 25 countries are expected to showcase the latest products, equipment, and solutions across energy generation, transmission, solar technology, and a wide array of renewable energy sectors. Participating countries include prominent players such as China, India, UAE, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey.
Some of the key exhibitors confirmed for the event include ALLTOP SOLAR AFRICA LTD from Kenya, SUNSYNK from Tanzania, RADIANT ALLIANCE LIMITED from Bangladesh, KONTROLMATIK TEKNOLOJI ENERJI VE MÜHENDISLIK A.Ş. from Turkey, ACTOM from South Africa, MULTISPAN CONTROL INSTRUMENTS PVT LTD from India, PROTON ELECTRO CABLE from Zambia, and CHARDON GROUP from Brazil, among many others.
These organizations will showcase cutting-edge innovations that reflect the global push toward cleaner, smarter, and more efficient energy systems.
The importance of these exhibitions is further emphasized by the strong support they receive from vital local and regional energy authorities. These include the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, the Electricity Sector Association of Kenya (ESAK), the Kenya Green Building Society, the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency (NuPEA), and the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO).
ESAK is a member-based organization composed of stakeholders from across the electricity sector, working to encourage the sustainable development of Kenya's energy industry through collaboration, advocacy, and data-driven solutions.
The Kenya Green Building Society is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to transforming Kenya's built environment toward environmental sustainability. KETRACO, a wholly owned parastatal, is responsible for planning, designing, constructing, owning, operating, and maintaining Kenya's high-voltage electricity transmission grid and regional power interconnectors.
This collective backing highlights the exhibitions’ pivotal role in accelerating the development and modernization of East Africa’s energy infrastructure. Kenya continues to demonstrate remarkable progress in expanding electricity access and integrating renewable energy sources. This sustained momentum creates an exceptionally opportune environment for industry stakeholders to engage, explore investment opportunities, and contribute to the region’s sustainable energy future.
"The event provides an opportunity for the industry stakeholders to explore new technologies on the solar and energy ecosystem" said Expogroup's Sales Manager for East Africa Johnson Mkoka.
