Kabarnet-Eldama Ravine road develops cracks after landslide

Motorists plying the Kabarnet- Eldama Ravine have been urged to be extra careful following the heavy rainfall in Kabarnet.
As a result of the rains, a landslide occurred in the area, leading to development of a huge crack on the road at Kimungur corner.
A spot check by Citizen Digital reveals a huge landslide that locals report to have occurred early Monday morning. Several cracks have been seen on the road, with fears that it could be cut off.
Those traveling from Eldama Ravine through Saos road are asked to be careful and if possible, divert to use Marigat highway.
