June Chebet Moi,  the daughter of late former President Daniel Moi will be laid to rest today, Thursday, April 18, 2024. 

A funeral mass will be held at the Kabarak University grounds and thereafter a private burial ceremony at her Bahati farm in Nakuru County. 

June Moi passed away on April 11 at the age of 60.

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta will lead a delegation of Azimio la Umoja principals including Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, Mwangi Wa Iria among others to pay final tribute to June. 

A delegation led by Martha Karua, the leader of the NARC-Kenya party, visited the Moi family on Tuesday to offer their condolences.

The Azimio leaders last week visited the Moi family to condole them. 

Her brother Gideon Moi described June as a jovial soul, full of life and outgoing.

She has been eulogised as a wonderful lady and a patriot.
