Zetech University has launched the TechSheria Scholarship,
an initiative designed to support students from vulnerable backgrounds to
pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree.
Announced on April 29, 2026, in Ruiru, the programme will
offer full tuition scholarships to selected applicants enrolling in the
university’s School of Law. It targets candidates who completed their KCSE in
2025 but lack the financial means to pursue legal education.
The university said the scholarship aims to broaden access
to quality legal training while nurturing socially responsible leaders, with a
particular focus on legal technology and entrepreneurship.
Vice Chancellor Njenga Munene said the initiative
underscores the institution’s commitment to education as a driver of social transformation.
“Through this TechSheria Scholarship, we are opening doors
for talented young Kenyans to access legal education and become catalysts for
positive change in their communities and beyond,” he said.
Applicants must have attained a minimum KCSE mean grade of
C+ (Plus), with at least a B (Plain) in English or Kiswahili, and demonstrate
financial need alongside strong leadership potential.
Dean of the School of Law Eric Kibet said the scholarship
extends beyond financial support.
“This is an investment in justice, equity, and the future of
our society. We are looking for students committed to leadership and community
service,” he said.
