Woman arrested, 100 kilos of bhang netted in Kwale

Police in Kwale County have arrested a suspect involved in drug trafficking.

According to a police report seen by Citizen Digital, a woman was arrested in Zibani area following a special intelligence-led operation.

According to information from the officers, a large quantity of 100 kilograms of bhang (cannabis sativa) was found inside the suspect’s residence during a search.

The suspect is currently in custody and is expected to be presented to the court once investigations are complete.

Security officials have emphasized that the crackdown on drug trafficking will continue, warning those involved in this illegal trade that strict action will be taken against them.
