Ulinzi Warriors head coach Bernard Mufutu has called for improved concentration from his players despite their convincing win over Lakeside in a Kenya National Men’s Basketball Premier League clash over the weekend.

The soldiers secured a 77-61 victory against the newcomers at Nyayo Gymnasium, Nairobi, but Mufutu believes there is still room for growth, particularly in maintaining focus throughout the game.

“We still have a couple of games to play, and we believe we’ll keep improving, especially on the defensive end. That is already helping us create better offensive opportunities.”

He went on: “However, we really need to work on our concentration—being able to stay focused for the entire game, from the first whistle to the last. Those are key areas we’re looking to improve on, and I believe we’ll get there,” said Mufutu.

Ulinzi Warriors have now played four matches, registering two wins and two losses, and currently sit sixth on the log with six points.
