Uhuru arrives in Libreville for Africa peace and security retreat

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived in Libreville, Gabon, ahead of the 17th High-Level Retreat on the Promotion of Peace, Security and Stability in Africa.
The retreat, themed “Powering ceasefires, national dialogue and reconciliation for durable peace,” is expected to bring together African Union representatives, regional bodies, UN envoys, experts and other stakeholders.
Organisers say the meeting will focus on strengthening collaboration and sharing experiences on conflict prevention, peacebuilding and sustainable conflict resolution across the continent.
