Triply hosts inaugural gala ceremony to mark five-year milestone

TravelTech, the company's innovation also stood proud on the ranks with half a decade under it's belt for upgrading the solutions in business, operational and payment management for travel agent, tour operators and travel businesses.
The Gala and Awards Ceremony was set to recognize businesses that though the Triply platform have driven engagement, shown commitment to the ongoing digital transformation, grown impressively in performance and embraced innovation in the space.
Speaking during the event, Peter Wachira, CEO and Co-Founder of Triply, reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting travel businesses across Africa.
"The trust our customers place in Triply is something we never take for granted. At Triply, we believe travel businesses deserve better; better tools, better payment infrastructure, and better opportunities to grow," he stated.
"Everything we have built has been shaped by the trust, feedback, and partnership of our customers and stakeholders."
Notable mentions on the list of awardees include Plentiful Adventures as the top business in payments, Kenya Safari Bookings taking the crown for the top users of the platform for FX/forex conversion, and Adept DMC on scoring the highest number of flight bookings on the platform.
The special recognition award was given to African Hartebeest Safaris Limited, as the first company to use the virtual cards on the platform and still continues to.
The awards come at a time when Africa's travel industry is increasingly embracing digital transformation to improve efficiency, expand market access, and enhance customer experiences.
