Police in Mlolongo have arrested a woman suspected of poisoning her three children following a domestic dispute with her husband.

The suspect, identified as Linet Mubaba, was taken into custody on Tuesday after the bodies of her children, one-year-old twins and a four-year-old, were discovered at their home.

Preliminary information indicates that the incident occurred after an alleged disagreement between Mubaba and her husband, Alex Mogeni, a driver.

According to police, Mubaba is believed to have fled the scene shortly after the incident but was later traced and arrested.

She is currently being held at Mlolongo Police Station as investigations continue.

The bodies of the three children have been transferred to the City Mortuary, where postmortem examinations are expected to be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Police say investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, including the events leading up to the suspected poisoning.
