Three Machakos County Referral Hospital officers fired, set to be arraigned over graft

Three Machakos County Government officers are set to be arraigned on Friday for allegedly stealing public funds.
The three who are attached at the Machakos County Referral Hospital are accused of stealing money from the hospital.
They include a nurse, a nursing assistant and a cashier at the hospital. They have since been fired.
According to Health Executive Daniel Yumbya, the three were arrested after they collected Ksh.10,000 from a patient.
Dr Yumbya has since issued a stern warning to county officials against stealing saying those caught will be punished.
