Three killed as tanker hits motorcycle along Kapsabet–Chavakali road

The boda boda rider and two pillion passengers died at the scene.

The tanker was travelling from Chavakali towards Kapsabet when it reportedly lost control and veered into the motorcycle’s path.

Nandi County Police Commander Samuel Mukuusi confirmed the incident, saying officers had visited the scene and launched investigations into the circumstances of the crash.

Mukuusi urged motorists, particularly drivers of heavy commercial vehicles, to exercise caution, observe traffic regulations and maintain control of their vehicles.

He also appealed to all road users to remain vigilant and prioritise safety as investigations continue.
