Tharaka Nithi: Investigations as night watchman found murdered in school

The tragic incident occurred last night, and another watchman was critically injured.

Joseph Muthuri, Gakuri's Senior Assistant Chief, confirmed the incident.

He stated that the injured watchman was taken to Nkubu Consolata Mission Hospital for treatment as authorities launched an investigation.

According to the chief, suspected thieves broke into four school offices, stealing an undisclosed amount of items. 

Evidence of a violent struggle between the watchmen and the thieves was found at the scene, with bloodstains observed in the compound.

Police are now handling the case and working to gather more information on the suspects.
