Thank you, but please, no! - Kalonzo rejects calls to work with Ruto

Speaking on Sunday during a church service in Machakos, Kalonzo said a big no to the calls, saying the current administration has too much negativity in its hands that he cannot work with them.
"No, thank you. I cannot join hands with predators. You have done so much damage to millions of Kenyans. Many Kenyans are suffering under this administration, what am I joining you to do? Thank you, but no!" Kalonzo defiantly rejected the approaches.
This comes after he faced hostility during the rebranding of Edwin Sifuna's Linda Mwananchi Movement (LMM) party, by supporters of the Nairobi senator.
The hostility opened the window for Ruto allies to lure Kalonzo, saying he is being disrespected in the opposition, despite his vast experience in politics.
But Kalonzo assured his supporters that he will not join hands with Ruto, insisting he will be in the ballot for the presidency.
"Ruto himself has said I'm his biggest challenger in a democratic election. How then does he expect me to join hands with him? No, thank you. We meet at the ballot," Kalonzo added.
The former vice president is among several opposition figures looking to battle it out with Ruto next year, but banks on his colleagues to pick him as the opposition flag bearer.
Others who have shown interest include Edwin Sifuna, Jubilee's Fred Matiang'i, DCP's Rigathi Gachagua and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.
