Harambee Starlets have eager to face the Australian test in the FIFA Series finale set for a 5:30 PM kickoff at Nyayo Stadium.

Kenya heads into the clash buoyed by a 2-0 victory over India, a result that has lifted confidence within the camp.

Head coach Beldine Odemba says facing top-tier opposition is key to the team’s growth, describing the match as a valuable learning opportunity.

“To become a major force, you must compete against the best. Playing a team of this caliber presents a valuable opportunity for us,” Odemba noted.

Australia come into the fixture as one of the world’s leading sides, having finished fourth at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Despite the challenge, captain Mwanahalima Dogo insists the Starlets are confident and ready to compete.

“Australia have achieved a lot, but we will approach the game with confidence and give our best,” she said.

Matildas head coach Joe Montemurro has also praised Kenya’s organization, noting that his side expects a competitive encounter.

Fans are now eagerly awaiting what promises to be a high-intensity finale between the two teams.
