Kariobangi Sharks warmed up to their weekend Caf- Confederations Cup first round return leg clash against Asante Kotoko of Ghana with a commanding 2-0 win over Sony Sugar in a Kenyan Premier League match on Tuesday at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

Goals by Henry Juma and Harrison Mwendwa ensured the home team picked their first win of the season after drawing 1-1 with AFC Leopards In their first match

The game sprung to life after the breather after a lackluster first half that saw both teams squander numerous scoring chances in the danger area.

Sharks broke the deadlock in the 60th minute when Henry Juma pounced on a long ball in the box  firing to the top left corner.

Sharks got the second 15 minutes later after substitute Harrison Mwendwa dazzled around Sony defence to dink the onrushing Omondi Kevin in Sony’s goal to make it two.
