She has successfully navigated the world of entrepreneurship with her husband to build an architectural firm - Design Source - and a school - Kiota School.

As the first female President of the Architectural Society of Kenya (ASK), Emma has built a reputation as a trustee name in architecture and has worked on several high-profile projects in Kenya.

When asked how she decided to get into the world of education despite her architectural background, Emma says that the two fields are not are related because children need a conducive ecosystem (which includes buildings) to thrive.
