Shabana and Kenya Police played out a tightly contested and cautious affair that ended 0-0 at Gusii Stadium in Kisii.

The opening ten minutes reflected the stakes, as neither side was willing to take early risks.

Possession was measured, with both teams focused on maintaining defensive shape and avoiding costly errors.

As the match progressed, both sides gradually grew into the contest, but clear-cut chances remained limited.

Defensive discipline was evident throughout, with each team struggling to break down the other.

Shabana came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half. Assis fired narrowly wide in the 11th minute, before Danson Kiprono also missed the target in the 26th minute.

Those efforts stood out as the most significant opportunities in an otherwise restrained opening period.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with chances few and far between. Both teams continued to prioritize defensive solidity over attacking ambition, resulting in a largely uneventful spell in front of goal.

As the match entered its final ten minutes at Gusii Stadium, the cautious approach persisted, with neither side committing fully forward, leaving the contest finely balanced.

Despite late attempts from both sides to snatch a winner, neither could find the breakthrough as the match ended in a barren 0-0 draw.

The result leaves Kenya Police in third place on 48 points, with Shabana just behind in fourth on 47 points.
