Section of ODM youth want Winnie Odinga incorporated in party leadership

The youth said the move will be part of a broader strategy to elevate youth leadership in the party.

Led by Brian Midiwo, the young members called for sanity in the party, adding that the current ongoing differences will jeopardise the ideals of the party.

“Why are they dividing the party? Is there something someone wants to do with the government? That is why they are rushing for a coalition a year to the General Election?” posed Midiwo. 

“The Country is at a crossroads as youth want to take over, but the elderly do not want to hand over.”

ODM party has been on the spot following a fallout pitting different camps, threatening its stability ahead of the 2027 general elections.
